UNPO presidency Accepts Washington DC membership at Palace of Justice in Brussels. Washington DC is requesting the right of self-determination from USA Congress for statehood. The USA government does not detain or shoot Washington DC State campaigners like governments other UNPO members are complaining about, however a right denied is in Washington DC is as painful as a right denied to other disenfranchised members of UNPO.
Taxation without representation in Washington DC is no longer a concern only for Washington DC residents. Forty-four other nations are also adopting that battle cry!, standing by their new found cause-mates in America.
This is a brief report about the current Human Rights and Humanitarian situation in Ogaden issued by Ogaden Peoples Rights organisation on September 23, 2015. The report is about how events are starting to resemble the catastrophe that befell the Ogaden people after the Obole incident in 2007. The Chinese are back in force and are planning to export gassed oil from the Ogaden, while credible sources are reporting that ONLF is preparing for a major show down with the Ethiopian army regarding this issue.
OPRO will keep issuing periodic reports and updates as the situation develops.
